AGM: Our Annual Members’ Meeting this year is on Monday 21 March at Bishopstone Village Hall starting at 7.30pm.

Delivery service:

We are still offering a free delivery service to our local customers who are isolating. Please call the hub to discuss the availability of times for delivery.
Safety in low numbers: Our ‘safety in low numbers’ protocols continues in the shop – and, yes, sometimes it’s a nuisance to queue, but we need to maintain this even more now to protect our staff, as well as you, the customers. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you to our VolunteersWe are delighted to report that despite some of our staff and volunteers currently having to isolate or shield, we are able to remain open for all our normal hours. This is only possible thanks to the amazing dedication of the remainder of our team, taking on extra shifts. We can’t thank them enough!

If you’d like to volunteer please speak to Tony at The Hub.

Tales from our local suppliers:

This is a recent comment from one of our suppliers and an account of their lockdown experiences.
“We have been incredibly lucky to have been one of the winners in these strange times. Since day one, our order books have gone mad with many of our outlets increasing their orders two- or three-fold. We have also taken on several more shops & farm shops. The Chalke Valley Community Shop has always supported us and not only at Christmas & Easter when our products are popular but throughout the year. The shop continues to be one of our best outlets & we thank them very much.

Thank you for your continued support :

We’re so proud that we are able to continue to serve our community during this very difficult time and even more proud of the army of volunteers who are enabling us to continue operating – we couldn’t achieve it without you!”
