Coffee Shop Now Open
The freshly redecorated Coffee Shop reopened on 17th May. We suggest that reservations are made for lunch wherever possible, as regulations mean we can serve fewer tables. To reserve your table phone the Shop on 01722 780998.
Jayne and the team are offering a range of new dishes and the ever popular “All Day Breakfast” is still on the menu. We look forward to welcoming you all for coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea.
Take away drinks, sandwiches and cakes are also still available.
Customer Survey: The replies to our Customer Survey have now been analysed. We shall be working on the points that have been made to help us improve the service the Hub provides. Our grateful thanks go to all who responded.
New Products: Our ever expanding range of products now includes; vegan chocolate, new soft drinks and an extensive range of summer wines, beers and ciders.
Covid Measures: Covid measures including masks and distancing are still required. Please help us to ensure your safety and that of our staff and volunteers, but aheadring to the rules. Delivery and Collection of orders is still available; just call the shop on 01722 780998.
Deliveries to CVHF: Tony and the Shop personnel will be preparing and delivering breakfast foods and supplies to the armies of enactors and the many volunteers “resident” at the site at the CVHF site every morning during the Festival.
Coffee Shop Refurbishment: Be sure to visit the new look coffee shop with comfy sofas. Thank you to Ena Kingstone and Rina Musselwhite for their kind donation towards the refurbishment of the coffee shop. Thank you to Julia & Julian Thomas, Stephen & Katie Whitmore, Caroline & Olivia Dutson for their time and efforts decorating the Coffee Shop.
We are sad to announce that Diana Field, Anna Watson, and Viv Thornton have decided to retire as volunteers. We would like to thank them all so much for the many years of excellent service they have given. They have been stalwarts of the Volunteer force since the early days of the shop and their important contribution will be much missed.
We would also like to thank all our current volunteers for all they do to help in keeping the Hub running. We would welcome more, especially as the coffee shop is now open. Please come and talk to Tony if you could volunteer a few hours.
